Senior Solution Architect/FAE — San Jose, CA

Position

The successful candidate will have a wide range of applications experience. The Solution Architect will be directly and deeply involved in the pre-sale process in collaboration with a sales manager. He/she will be in charge of identifying the customer's requirements and promoting our product accordingly. He/she will be responsible for the customer evaluation process and will have to work closely with the engineering team in order to provide the most accurate and attractive proposal. His/her autonomy and deep technical knowledge will help them to achieve these goals. He/she will have to provide comprehensive and thorough support for the accounts he/she is responsible for. Additionally he/she will have to coordinate the customer's requirements to the engineering staff as needed. His/her interaction with the engineering team will lead to providing appropriate customer feed-back as well as participating in day to day activities to improve the Arteris NoC solution

Profile

SoC architect / Chip designer background.
5-7 years experience with a minimum of 2-5 years in the field.
BSEE degree.
Strong communication, presentation and organizational abilities.
Strong teamwork ethic with the ability to work independently when required.
Experienced in current EDA software flows.
Networking technology knowledge a plus.
Travel required.
Maturity a plus.

Field Applications Engineer — Paris or Nice, France

Position

As a member of the sales force, you will support Arteris key accounts. You will be the technical interface between customers and our engineering teams for pre-sales/post-sales activities.

Profile

MS or PhD in CS/EE.
ASIC design/verification experience.
IP/EDA application engineering experience.
Familiarity with VHDL, Verilog and SystemC languages.
Strong customer focus.
Highly motivated, enthusiastic.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Preferred Skills/Experience

Design/architecture of complex System-on-Chips.
Knowledge of socket protocols such AMBA AXI, or OCP.
On-chip communication concepts.
