K. Charles Janac
Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Janac is president and CEO of Arteris where he is responsible for growing and establishing a strong global presence for the company that is pioneering the concept of NoC technology. Janac’s career spans 20 years and multiple industries including electronic design automation, semiconductor capital equipment, nano-technology, industrial polymers and venture capital.

In the first decade of his career, he held various marketing and sales positions at Cadence Design Systems (NYSE: CDN) where he helped build it into one of the ten largest software companies in the world. He joined HLD Systems as president, shifting the company’s focus from consulting services to IC floor planning software and building the management, distribution and customer support organizations. He then formed Smart Machines, manufacturer of semiconductor automation equipment and sold it to Brooks Automation (NASDAQ: BRKS). After a year as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Infinity Capital, a leading early-stage Venture Capital firm, where he consulted on Information Technology investment opportunities, he joined Nanomix as president and CEO helping build this start-up nano-technology company.

Janac holds a B.S. and M.S. degree in Organic Chemistry from Tufts University and an M.B.A from Stanford Graduate School of Business.

 

Philippe Boucard
Senior Director of IP Development

Arteris co-founder Philippe Boucard is a seasoned technologist with more than 18 years experience. He was previously with T.sqware, then Globespan, where he lead the HIS VLSI designers group and was responsible for the development of the new processor generation for DSL applications. He also developed the TS70x and TS520 products families.

Prior to T.sqware, Boucard was Principle Hardware Designer in the Networking Product division at Matra Semiconductor where he developed new communication concepts for Network Processor SoC interconnect. He also held management positions at DEC and GIPSI.

Boucard holds a Master's Degree in Telecoms from École Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications (ENST).

 

Philippe Martin
Chief Technical Officer

Prior to Arteris, Philippe Martin was the Technical Director for Sonics Europe where he was responsible for all technical activities related to the introduction of Sonics to the European market. Prior to Sonics, Martin held various positions at Mentor Graphics Europe, including Technical Director, European Product Specialist, and Application Engineer. In his last position at Mentor Graphics he provided management and technical leadership to the pre-sales application engineering team.

Martin holds a Ph.D. in Electronic Design on High-speed linear GaAs circuits at Thomson R&D Lab, along with an engineering degree from the École Polytechnique.

 

 

Michel Telera
Vice President of Sales, Europe, Middle East, Africa, India, Asia

Michel Telera was previously the Director of Southern Europe for Verisity where he built the organization from its inception to an operation with more than $11 million in sales. He has a 20-year record of serving major European accounts for companies such as Daisy Systems, Viewlogic, Compass Design Automation, and Avant!.
