DESIGN AUTOMATION CONFERENCE, AUSTIN, Texas — June 3, 2013 — Arteris, Inc., the inventor and leading supplier of network-on-chip (NoC) interconnect IP solutions, today announced that Altera has licensed Arteris® FlexNoC™ interconnect IP for future SoC products.  Altera SoCs combine the performance and power savings of hard intellectual property (IP) with the flexibility of programmable logic.

After a complete evaluation of available interconnect fabric IP products, Arteris FlexNoC was the clear choice. FlexNoC is the only SoC fabric that allows us to meet tight timing margins and achieve design frequency requirements.
