Ncore Cache Coherent Interconnect IP and Synopsys Platform Architect fast-tracks integration for autonomous driving and artificial intelligence (AI) markets

CAMPBELL, Calif. — January 30, 2018 — Arteris IP, the innovative supplier of silicon-proven commercial system-on-chip (SoC) interconnect IP, today announced the integration of its Ncore Cache Coherent IP with the Synopsys® Platform Architect™ virtual prototyping solution to provide designers of neural network and autonomous driving SoCs with the ability to analyze system-level performance and power consumption earlier in the design cycle for their next-generation multicore architectures.

Combining Platform Architect and Ncore System models provides designers with the ability to analyze and optimize an entire heterogeneous multicore SoC architecture before RTL is available.

Arteris IP Announces 8 New Licensees, 2 New Products in 2017

Semiconductor IP leader's growth driven by artificial intelligence and autonomous driving systems-on-chip (SoC)

CAMPBELL, Calif. — January 17, 2018 — Arteris IP, the innovative supplier of silicon-proven commercial system-on-chip (SoC) interconnect IPtoday announced that it added eight new licensees for Arteris Ncore and FlexNoC Interconnect semiconductor intellectual property (IP) products in 2017. Arteris IP customers added during 2017 include Chinese artificial intelligence and machine learning pioneers Cambricon and Intellifusion, IoT security and Trusted Platform Module (TPM) vendor Nationz Technologies, and five as-of-yet undisclosed customers. This trend matches previous years where Arteris added nine new licensees annually in 2014, 2015 and 2016. These new customers, and the addition of new license contracts with existing licensees, enabled Arteris IP to achieve cash flow positive operation in 2017 while investing heavily in new product development.

Arteris IP bookings reached the highest level in company history in 2017.

Arteris IP FlexNoC Interconnect Licensed by Nationz Technologies for Ultra-Low Power Security IoT Chips

Digital authentication and security leader brings capabilities to IoT by using state-of-the-art on-chip interconnect IP

CAMPBELL, Calif. — January 9, 2018 — Arteris IP, the innovative supplier of silicon-proven commercial system-on-chip (SoC) interconnect IP, today announced that Chinese secure IoT device leader Nationz Technologies has licensed Arteris IP FlexNoC interconnect IP for use in ultra-low power IoT chips that enable trusted services. Nationz has been a leader in trusted platform module (TPM) and digital authentication systems for online banking and mobile services, and is broadly enabling these capabilities for the Internet of Things (IoT).

The FlexNoC interconnect’s security and firewall technologies allow us to address sophisticated security use cases that would otherwise not be easily implementable.
