New EE Times article on Automotive SoCs and Interconnect IP

EE Times just published a new article I wrote about how the automotive industry has replaced the mobile phone industry as the driver for new semiconductor technologies.

Of course, I related this new trend to the need for more sophisticated on-chip interconnect IP, like Arteris Ncore and FlexNoC 😉
I did some real research for this article, spelunking through company annual reports and reports from consulting companies like McKinsey and IHS Technology. The article includes a couple of graphics that I found most interesting in explaining how the semiconductor content of vehicles is increasing both in value and complexity.
